Microtraps
This work is done in collaboration with S. Ducci and P. Filloux (Laboratoire Matériaux et Phénomènes Quantiques, Paris).
The realization of systems which can be minituarized and integrated is an essential tool in order to realize a quantum computer. Microtraps are traps with small dimensions (some hundreds of microns for the smallest one) operated with moderate voltages (volts). They are realized using modern microelectronic techniques.
